It is our last week in Florida before heading back to the resort. We are so excited to get back and start preparing the cabins and everything for our guests.
I have done a lot this winter with essential oils; reading and researching the benefits for health, body, environment, and cleaning. I have found a passion for it and it is so fun to experiment with different blends.
The first thing of the day and the last thing before bed that I do and love is diffusing different essential oils. Depending on how we are feeling helps me to decide what blend of oils I will use. Purification, lavender, eucalyptus and joy are some that I use frequently.
This week I am making different things for the resort. Products that you will find in the cabins when you arrive.
I am so excited I wanted to share them with you.
A favorite of mine is the pillow and sheet spray, this is just a freshener that helps calm the mind and body and prepares for a good night sleep. However, most people naturally sleep well when coming to the north woods and find it naturally calming.
In the bathroom, you will find a foaming hand soap that is gentle and toxin free. That means no dried out hands and safe fore everyone. This one I am playing with different scents, so if you have a favorite, be sure to let us know, I would be happy to make you a special blend.
In the kitchen you will have a surface cleaner and disinfectant spray. Non-toxic cleaners keep the air you breathe clean. This I have been making with the scent of lemon, but also might mix it up a bit.
And a hand sanitizer spray for you to use in the cabin, boat, inside or out. Non-toxic cleaners don’t harm the environment, so it is safe around the fish. You will love the smell of this with essential oils like; tea tree, orange, clove and cinnamon.
The best part of all of this is that they are toxin free, using all environmentally safe ingredients for your health and mine.
With all the cleaning me, my family, and staff do each week in our cabins and around the resort we need to be more careful and make better choices in the products we use. No more inhaling toxic cleaners while I clean the bathrooms, no more bleach for anyone to breathe. I have learned many great facts and dangers of the products we have used in the past, I will not do that anymore. I want a safe, healthy and clean environment for everyone.
