2020 in Review

What a year!

We want to start by saying that we are very thankful for being in this business, especially this year.  We are so glad to be part of “happy times of 2020”.  We are fortunate to have been able to be open and available for those that needed to “get away”.

You our guests

We so appreciate each and every one of you, and so full of joy to know that you all felt comfortable in your space here.  We are also excited that so many of you will be returning in 2021. We want to thank all of you that shared photos of your vacation with us or on social media.  This year’s book will be full of all your lake adventures.

Lake time

Though the water level was very high all summer, the lake warmed up into the 80’s very early in July, which made it the biggest heated pool around.  Water skiing, tubing, biking, paddling and relaxing on a tube were the “go to” things to do.  We certainly enjoyed watching the families spend time together, which we feel that is what we do best here: Family Time. This year was filled with many new faces, which we love getting to know. In general, everyone was just so happy to be out and about.

Little Boy Resort

It amazes us the things y’all notice from year to year.  Many commented on our new flooring in Tranquility and Pinewood. We are so glad you liked it, we love the fresh clean look. The steel roofs (mostly men notice, but we did have one lady that did), the furniture, especially beds were well appreciated. We will continue to upgrade and keep our cabins and amenities up to date and fun, comfortable and cozy for you to relax and enjoy.

The Loren’s

My kids, oh how we love them!  Rarely a day goes by that I don’t talk to them, which keeps this mama’s heart very happy.  We are very proud of both of them, they are hard workers and always striving for more.  Their minds never stop, and they work well together.  Always coming up with great ideas for the resort.  Dillon spent a little over 30 days here off and on this summer, and Jordan came often to help out and get a northwoods revival.

Troy and I enjoyed meeting many new people and visiting with our returning guests. It amazes me the stories people share and the many acquaintances we have in common.

With the early snowfall the outside jobs were challenging, and the cold air temperatures meant we had to get things blown out in a hurry.

This cold weather means I am ready to head south.  Florida is calling my name, sunshine and 75 is my favorite.

Troy has been doing some deer hunting, bow now and rifle through mid November.  Hopefully he can put some meat in the freezer.

Winter for us

This winter we have  our trip to Arizona planned. We are so excited for Jordan and Robert.  February wedding plans are coming together, Sedona is a very beautiful wedding destination, and we are looking forward to our time and celebration there.

“The most important things in life, have nothing to do with things”

Cherish each moment, love your life, love your family, make joyous memories, smile and have fun!

HOOKED ON RESORTING AND MORE ADVENTURES,

Troy, Nancy, Dillon & Jordan
