Looking back on 2021, it has been an awesome year, however, it has been a little different. To think we had 8 days in the 90’s….wow! Typically 1 maybe 2, so that made the water warm up nicely for all the kiddo’s to play and stay cool.
We had some rain in the spring, but nothing through the summer making it very dry. With that the water level continued to drop throughout the summer. All the changes in weather affected the fishing some but it didn’t stop anyone from trying.
LAKE LIFE
All of YOU, our guests, are what makes our resort so special. Strangers coming together, enjoying the greatness of “Up North” and making new friendships and acquaintances. In our 17 summers we have found great joy in witnessing new friendships that are long lasting. Thank you for making our work so enjoyable.
Little Boy Resort has great changes happening over this winter. This new Lodge and home has been in the works for over 5 years and we are so excited to share it with all of you. We will keep all the updates on Instagram and Facebook.
Family time, my favorite! Nothing makes me happier than having my kids home, so when Jordan and Robert told us that they wanted to move back to the Resort, you can only imagine how happy that made us. They moved up in May and Jordan has been working full time with us and Robert is working full time at US Bank in Pine River. Dillon, still living in Houston, TX and doing real estate with Keller Williams, had a very busy year and enjoyed all of the challenges. He came to Minnesota every month to help out at the Resort.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding through this fall with our demolition and construction getting underway in September. Things are moving along and changes are happening daily.

Winter will be a little different this year, to be next door in Bears Den watching the progress of our dream come true. Feeling so blessed!
